It is summer. Time to kick back, lay on the beach in the sun, listen to the waves, and go mermaid spotting. Lucky for you, we have just the mermaid you have been looking for. She goes by the name Sinister Siren, and if you aren’t careful, she will enchant you.

Over the past year, you may have gotten the chance to know one of our newer skaters, Meryl Kreep, but she was a different person back then. She shed her former moniker, Grim Kreeper, and has become the skater you will get to see this year, Meryl Kreep. Let’s learn what makes Kreep so Kreepy.

She is relatively new to Hard Knox Roller Girls, but if you got a chance to watch us last year, you could not have missed her. She likes to jam on the track and off. She is Trans Jam!

We have all heard the saying “Good things come in small packages,” and that is definitely the case with number 49: smalls. She has only been skating a few months, but has already made a big impact. I got a chance to sit down with her and learn about her road to the world of roller derby.
