The 11th Annual Mardi Growl Parade

February 23, 2018

It's that time of the year again! Look for your Hard Knox Roller Girls next Saturday, March 3rd in downtown Knoxville, TN at the 11th Annual Mardi Growl Parade hosted by Young-Williams Animal Center.

Mardi Growl attracts thousands of spectators along the streets of downtown Knoxville and is a great way to raise awareness for Young-Williams Animal Center as well as the Most Pet Friendly Community efforts in Knoxville. The event features a pet-friendly parade/costume contest kicking off at 11:00am. The parade starts at Willow Avenue and goes through the Old City, down Gay Street, and it ends in Market Square where there will be a festival from 12:00pm-3:00pm. The after party in Market Square has more than 60 vendors, food trucks, face painting, live music, and more!

Come out next Saturday to show your support, and don't forget to wear your purple, yellow, and green!

The Hard Knox Roller Girls is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. They are dedicated to providing community outreach through events, activities, and charity sponsorship. Participating in the annual Mardi Growl Parade has become one of their favorite volunteer opportunities. Hard Knox hopes you will come out, too, and help support the fantastic work Young-Williams does in the Knoxville area.
