The Hard Knox Roller Girls are gearing up for their 2nd home double-header of the season this Saturday, July 22nd at The Knoxville Convention Center in downtown Knoxville, TN. Your Hard Knox Brawlers will take to the track first at 5pm to battle it out against the Red River Sirens from Clarksville, TN. Put on your black and green, and cheer these girls to victory!
Then at 7pm, your Hard Knox Allstars will go head to head with Vette City Roller Derby from Bowling Green, KY. It's been awhile since these two teams played each other; HKRG pulled out a narrow defeat last time, winning by a mere 2 points! Let's be sure to make some noise as these two teams skate it out once again. Go HKRG!!!
Besides intense hard-hitting derby action, we've also got a lot of rockin' musical talent lined up to entertain you at half-time and between bouts. Be sure to stick around for these awesome local bands: Doc Isaac, the Badd Hatt'rs, and Mass Driver. They will melt your faces off!
The theme this weekend is "Stars and Stripes," so add some red, white, and blue accents to your black and green boutfits to show your patriotism.
The Hard Knox Roller Girls is a 501c3 non-profit organization. They are dedicated to providing community outreach through events, activities, and charity sponsorship. They will be promoting Young-Williams Animal Center as their featured charity at the bouts this weekend. Please bring a donation of cat food, dog food, blankets, towels, and/or toys and receive $2 off admission at the door.
