If you've been to any of our home bouts this season, then you've seen a new number out there zipping around the track. Who is that speedy little jammer donning the number 5 on the back of her jersey? Is she a new skater to the world of roller derby, or did she come to us from another league?

Who are some of the top-team jammers that she looks to for inspiration? What are some areas she's working to improve in her own jamming skill-set this season? If you'd like to learn more about one of Hard Knox's newest additions, then read on to catch a glimpse into the interesting life of number 5, CarcinoJen. 

Join your favorite girls in black and green at their first annual Hard Knox Roller Girls Carnival this Saturday, July 30th from 12pm-10pm!!! There will be something for everyone to enjoy: all-ages' activities, games with chances to win cool prizes, several local vendors peddling handcrafted and unique treasures, psychic readings, fire performers, face-painters, hoola-hoopers, live music, food trucks, a story-time tent for the kiddos, doggie kissing booths, burlesque, belly dancers, and more! 

Admission: 
12pm - 8pm, all-ages, $2.00/person
8pm - 10pm, 18+, $5.00/person, for entrance to the burlesque show

Tickets for games and activities will be $1.00 each. The number of tickets required for activities and games will vary. Cash or card only.

Hard Knox Roller Girls have reached the halfway point in their 2016 season. Round three of their 10 year anniversary season will see HKRG lace up against the Central Ohio Roller Derby of Mount Vernon, Ohio.  This will be the first time these teams have taken the track together. Who will be victorious? Find out July 16th at Maryville College’s Cooper Athletic Center.
