Hard Knox Roller Derby is Knoxville’s first and only flat-track roller derby league, proudly competing as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Founded in 2006, our league is skater-owned, volunteer-run, and built on athleticism, inclusivity, and community support.
We compete locally and travel nationally, representing Knoxville in one of the fastest-growing women’s and gender-expansive sports in the world. Whether you’re a longtime derby fan or brand new to the sport, Hard Knox Roller Derby offers an exciting, high-energy experience both on and off the track.
2026 Roller Derby Season in Knoxville
Join us for the 2026 Hard Knox Roller Derby season, featuring action-packed home bouts, traveling competition, and special events throughout the year. Our home games bring together Knoxville fans, local businesses, and the derby community for fast-paced entertainment you won’t find anywhere else.
In 2026, our league will host 6 home bouts! Tickets can be purchased in advance online for $15, or at the door for $20. Buy early for the best price or purchase a season ticket for big savings!
We will also travel to several away bouts across the nation.

Hard Knox Roller Derby is always welcoming new people into the league—on skates and off. There are so many ways to be a part of Hard Knox. From becoming a ref or teammate, to being an non-skating official (NSO) or game day volunteer - we NEED you!
Skaters: Interested in learning to play roller derby in Knoxville? No derby experience is required, although general skating experience is recommended. We offer training programs and bootcamps for new players.
Officials & Volunteers: Help keep bouts running smoothly and be part of the action.
